How to set Japanese System Locale Win10

Since I had the problem right now I thougt a little advice for Win 10 would be the right thing to do. Didn't find anything about that using the Search-option.

 

To set the System Locale in Win 10 you have to follow these steps:

 

1. Start -> Settings

2. Open: "Time and Language"

3. on Date and Time-Tab under related settings -> "additional Date, Time and regional Settings"

4. additional window will open, there choose tab "Administration" there "change system locale"

5. Select Japanese and klick OK

That's not how you change your non unicode settings/locale, that's how you change your geographical location.

 

To change non unicode settings on Windows 10 you do the exact same thing you did on Windows 7 or 8

I just want to add that to reach the control panel on Win 10, it's faster to reach it by searching for it on the searching tab of the task bar.

As I thought I forgot something and made a mistake, my bad. Editet it. And this was intended for people which haven't changed the Settings so far:

 

 

but right, just using the search tab would be easier
