If my heart had wings save problem

Hey I was wondering if anyone could help me. Basically whenever I save, the picture shows up as no image and when I try to load it just crashes the game. It works fine without the restoration patch but is there any way to fix it than me having to one shot this game?

Is the game folder in read-only mode? That might be the cause of the problem.

Right-click the game folder and select Properties. Under Attributes, check if Read-only is ticked. Uncheck it and see if it fixes the problem.

Another thing to note is that the restoration patch is not compatible with saves from the original game.

I tried it and it still doesn't allow me to save or load any of the game files. And yea I know how the restoration patch isn't compatible. I could just play without the restoration patch but I wanna have the h scenes. Any other ideas?

Hmm, the only problem I can think of is that the patch wasn't installed properly. You can try a fresh install?

You can also try and uncheck Read-only for the folder where the saves are at. It should be at C:\Users\(USERNAME)\Saved Games\MoeNovel\IF MY HEART HAD WINGS.

I actually got it working, I had to mess around with my laptop since its originally a Mac but I installed windows. Yea something with the patch wasn't installing right. Thanks for the help Tenkuru!
