Jason_OCE Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 I've played around for a bit, and can't find a way to format a table. Is this a feature? if not, i can has tables pls? Quote
Nayleen Posted October 6, 2015 Posted October 6, 2015 Seriously, how would one go about representing tabular data in a way that's easy to set up for the average Joe, using BBCode? [table] [tr] [th]Aw[/th] [th]Hell[/th] [th]Naw[/th] [/tr] [tr] ... etc [/tr] [/table] And that's leaving out col and rowspan, borders, and everything else. It's just not doable in a sane way that gives users any benefit. Even in GitHub flavored markdown ( https://help.github.com/articles/github-flavored-markdown/#tables ) it would be way too complicated. Create a Google sheet and link to that if you need tabular data that badly. Quote
Jason_OCE Posted October 6, 2015 Author Posted October 6, 2015 There's a fair few plugins for Invision Power, which I assume this board runs on. Having it installed would just be nice. Sure, not everyone would use it every day, but I imagine the few times it'll be used, it'll be by people who already understand basic formatting, coding ect. Quote
