The purpose of this thread is rather simple, share, talk about, post, and fan girl over anything and everything K-pop related. It is also for attracting new K-pop fans and for the existing fans on Fuwa to gather. In addition, it will serve as a crude resource for anyone wanting to expand their brains when it comes to K-pop! Before you post... Please take the following into consideration (though it will not be enforced). Put any MV's in a spoiler tag with Artist - Song name above the spoiler. The reason I would like MV's to be in spoiler tags is to help people with slower internet load the page, the Artist - Song format is just to please my "OCD". At the bottom of this post will be a list of every MV that has been posted in THIS thread. If you are posting a MV just to post it, please check if it has been posted before. However, if you are posting the MV to comment on something specific or your thoughts on it, go ahead and post again! Basically if it is a meaningful post don't worry about this. The MV's seemed to stop working and it was a mess. Also, I did a decent sized chunk of work to the thread before the Fuwapocalypse happened a little while ago and the progress was lost. Lately they have been getting more risque and incorporating more hiphop it seems, which I am really enjoying.Boy groups don't tend to do bubble pop, they are more hiphop/pop inclined. A lot of electronic sounds as well. They are also really hot and sound better IMO. Quote

Can't say that's a bad thing, I listen and will listen to anything pretty much. The only exception is country.I really want to go on a posting spree and post a bunch of older songs but I will regretfully refrain. Here are some newer songs to get a feel for some Girl Groups. There are a lot of groups and many times both female and male groups will have a wide range of genres that they preform. Typically though, it goes from pop to ballads. Taeyeon ft. Verbal Jint - I Girls' Generation - You ThinkRed Velvet - Dumb Dumb DumbThese groups are all from the same organization, SM Entertainment. There are many different labels and what not as mentioned in the OP. If you would like some other girl groups I will happily post! I guess it has been two Going to do a double post to make up for the lack of MV posting.To start off is Devil by Super Junior. Super Junior - Devil I really like this song, but it's by no means one of my favorites. The MV proves to be interesting enough (though I just really looking at male groups). The chorus is catchy as most are, and the fun "spicy" vibes stays steady through out the song. Our second MV being featured in this post is Lion Heart by Girls' Generation. Girls' Generation - Lion Heart I haven't been following Girls' Generation really all that much since Gee. I occasionally listen to them still and like this direction for them. Some of their newer songs appeal to more of the "badass" hip-hop feels but this one really just makes you appreciate girl groups. The chorus is pleasant, the girls are cute, and your heart feels uplifted in happiness and "damn they are so cute!" the whole time you listen.The final MV for this post will be something more on the chill side.Gary ft. MIWOO - Get Some Air I can't say I have heard of Gary before, or MIWOO in all honesty. I wasn't sure what to expect when I started up the song but I was pleased with what it gave me. I am a decently large fan of this kind of music, a chill background track, switching a from male rapping to a female singing, it just sounds relaxing to me. I don't have to much to say about this song other than I believe they do a good job at what it is supposed to do. The MV contributes to the simplicity as well and reinforces the overall feeling. The subject matter though is a different story. Gary said he worked really hard on this album and it would be best to listen and interpret the song for yourself. As such I won't say anything about what the song is about! It is now my time for reckoning -aka- my personal trainer. I will finish up the second post as promised, just later tonight. In light of this I will post what I have been listening to and if the mood once again strikes me, spam post some stuff.BTS - I Need U BTS - Run For these two songs, I adore them. I do believe the two songs make up a whole (so part 1 & 2). Before this I did enjoy BTS, but I wasn't nearly as big a fan of their music compared to now. Then comes the best thing since Gangam Style, if not better. PSY - Daddy I absolutely am entranced with this song and I can't help it, I got it from my Daddy. Quote

If anyone is interested in seeing what the new songs are and what not refer to the links in the OP! Since I haven't posted in this thread for months, I want to just put up what I'm listening to in the Korean scene, most of it will probably not be new. Jay Park ft. Okasian - 뻔하잖아 You Know Spoiler As said in the comments section, I really enjoyed Okasian's performance, which was the highlight IMO. The song as a whole is very enjoyable and by no means am I dissing Jay in this song. The beat is chill, Jay's voice is really smooth to listen to, and Okasian is lit. Definitely give this a listen to if it's your kind of thing, on repeat for me. Suzy & Baekhyun - Dream Spoiler This song is way chill in the kind of way I love. I absolutely love the instrumental portion of this song, this is the kind of stuff I listen to probably third most (first being hiphop, next new age/classic, then w/e this is jazzish?). Suzy and Baekhyun's voices were in perfect harmony, oh my Listening to them paired with the instrumental made me feel like I was floating, very good. Zico - I Am You, You Are Me Spoiler Not much to say about this one... following the previous song's it's pretty chill. It's normal but at the same time it has something that really draws me in. So, I guess it's not normal? Who knows. Give it a listen. Guess what I like most of the time in song? Spoiler If you guessed chill beats you were spot on. By now you could probably tell More stuff may be posted in the future. Also as a side note, I contradict myself a lot it seems like.
