help editing and repacking

Hi, I'm still a total newbie to dealing with vns..

So I'm trying to translate the Bad Medicine demo from Rejet and I just need a lot of help and try to get the basics down. 

I've already unpacked it, and opened the prologue script. Can anyone tell me how to directly edit the script? Because I tried doing so in Notepad++ and it turned the lt file into a simple txt file and I don't know where to go from there, let alone how to repack it into the game.

You should be able to repack it with AnimED.

just go to the "Archive tool" tab > change the scroll to "[RPD] Rejet" > click on the arrow next to "create archive" > choose "Create from directory" > the choose the location you would like the file to be placed.

Though for the Rejet games you've also got to do something else with the Fonts.
