Question about White Album 2 Closing Chapter

I have only played Introductory Chapter and Koharu route so far so please no spoilers past this.

Currently I'm just about to enter Mari's route then the last choice came. Its either 1. コンサートに行く (Go to the concert) or 2. ここに残る (Stay in the office). The game ONLY allows you to pick number 2, stay in the office. So naturally I picked it but noticed that the concert seat that Touma Youko booked for Haruki is actually next to Kazusa, so if you picked the first option they will be reunited for the first time in 3 years. I'm really tempted to pick that option, but the game won't let you, and looking at Seiya Saiga this choice doesn't appear anymore. So why is this choice even here in the first place if you aren't allowed to choose?

I haven't played this so i don't really know for sure. But a couple vn's i've played before have had this type of option before and it becomes available once you finish the route first with the only option you can choose.

I've played the WA2 VN in its entirety many times before. There's no way for you to select that option. It's done deliberately by the author to fan us readers  Let's just say it's a cruel joke by the author, he even admits to it in one of his interviews. You don't know how I've wanted to click that option lol

I hear that there's a drama cd or something that's like a "if" scenario with haruki going to the concert. For some reason or the other (not mentally ready at that stage in life i think), it doesn't work out anyway.

Btw, in case you're unaware, there are additional scenes in IC with subsequent playthroughs. Iirc, completing IC unlocks some, and completing Chiaki's route also unlocks some. Be sure to go back for those somewhere down the line  and I'll put this in spoilers... read this after you finish Setsuna CC...

There are additional scenes in Coda too once you play through it once, doesnt matter which route.
