I've recently installed Steins Gate in my laptop and it seems to work fine until when I want to save.

When I'm at the save screen and hover my mouse over the slots, my cursor just goes into a spasm and keeps cycling through all the possible save slots, making it fairly difficult to save progress .

Any possible fixes, or did I screw up the installation.

Any help would be appreciated!

I doubt he would be able to give a pic of such problem, also this would be useless anyway.

I never heard of such bug, only bug with different systems I know is that touchscreen do not work on Windows 8.1 for example (so it do not point anywhere) unless you attach a real mouse, after you do it - it would work correctly till next reboot.

Anyway, I think you really have a problem with your hardware, maybe keyboard not working good? Arrow button is pressed?

And universal reply - try install same installation on different PC?

Try uninstalling Steins Gate through using Revo uninstaller and get it install the same way as well. And could you please tell which OS you had on your laptop? Mine Steins Gate works smoothly on my Windows 7 PC but not in my Windows 8 PC for some reason.

Hmm... Never heard of this bug before, could be a hardware problem like most people mentioned here. The only bug that I remember encountering while playing/reading Steins Gate is when you're messing or jerking around with the Okabe's cellphone more often than usual and suddenly the game crashes but it only happened once with me.

@arms98: I've actually had a similar problem recently while playing Steins;Gate, and tracked it down to an issue with the mouse scroll wheel. When this happens to you, either try fussing with the scroll wheel a lot (scrolling in the opposite direction of the direction the cursor is moving, specifically, seems to get it back to "neutral"), or maybe just disconnect/reconnect your mouse if it helps.
