Koisuru Natsu no Last Resort - ADV Player HD has stopped working

Game Name: Koisuru Natsu no Last Resort
Description of Problem:  I've had similar issues with other ADV engine games in the past that I have been unable to resolve. As the first OP rolls about some ways into the VN, they crash and give me the following error.  https://i.imgur.com/DpvzCHw.jpg
Your Operating System: Windows 10
64 or 32 bit (link to how to find): 64
What did you already try? 

Un/reinstall

Ran as administrator

Compatability (8, 7) 
Installing K-Lite codex

 

The problem has been a persistent one that I was unable to resolve for "If My Heart Had Wings". Any help would be much appreciated.

Try changing your time and date format to Japanese, Pulltop games sometimes (actually most times) only work when you do that.

Switched it over to Japanese. Like this
Crashed again at the same point, unfortunately.

I'm having the same issue, on 64bit Windows 10. I tried to change my system to japanese and it didn't help. Nothing I've found has worked, so something is definitely wrong on some part.
