Clannad won't work

I've got those two messages, in japanese, and a black screen. In the black screen I can open a menu, but it is in japanese too.

This is the SP version, on Windows 10 and Japanese Locale.

If I'm not wrong it says...

"Can't find gameexe.ini"

"Can't find rl_d3d.dll. Please put rl_d3d.dll in the same place as RealLive.exe." (not sure how to TL the following one but...) "If the error continues or something, please change #D3D_ENABLE value to 0 in Gameexe.ini"

 

Check if your Clannad folder has these things, if not I guess try reinstalling.

Also I'm not sure if it's possible that the Japanese locale is interfering here

It is already on the same folder, and I've changed to 0, but nothing changed :|

Did you try changing locale to something else than Japanese?

actually, no, since I'd have to reboot my system. I'll try it later, tho

So, I've changed my locale for USA [English] and it worked fine. So, if anyone with a Japanese loocale has problems playing Clannad, that is the solution.

 

Also, that "Change to 0" thing isn't helpful: it just makes the game looks awful and doesn't change a thing [before and after changing my locale]
