Asuho route was meh, but i do think she had the best chemistry with the MC.

Komomo's route was the best, but the epilogue was a tiny too happy for me.

Aoi's route was weird because Chinami felt 10 times more likeable than Aoi in that.

I didn't care about the romance in Chinami's route because i think she works better as a side character, but the backstory revealed in that was cool.

Yume's and Kosame's routes were fine.

Mare's route felt like it was just there for people that wanted to see a Mare h-scene.

Well there's EH which is Mare's real route. Her route in the original feels like a prologue more than anything.

That's good to hear. By the way, do you know if it makes any difference which after story is played first? There are two available right off the bat, and I'm not sure if there's a recommended playing order or not.

I'm still learning Jap and since there is not eng patch I only read a hour into both routes... but once I get better or and eng patch comes out I'm going for **** then Mare. Cause

It doesn't matter but I would read Yume's first for small reasons that don't even really matter.

I read Mare's first myself.

Haha, yeah I think I might do **** first as well, even though her and Mare are pretty equal in my eyes. After dwelling on it a bit I think I like Mare's ending from the original game more so I'll save it for last.

Just finished it

Komomo (best tsundere) = **** (seems like unpopular opinion, I dunno, I guess I'm a sucker for the fragile, vulnerable ones) > Kosame > Asuno > Mare (too short IMO) > Aoi (forced drama, generally boring) > Chinami (sorry deer, I just can't get into the whole incest thing).

The technobabble made me cringe (HOW UNSCIENTIFIC), and some of the H-scenes can be a bit too random. Overall still enjoyable.

Well, this is in a world where spirits exist so I think the explanations make sense for that setting. They didn't totally break suspension of disbelief for me, short of maybe

Never understood that part of **** route. Seems too random. It was the worst part in Hoshimemo for me. Do they further the explanation in EH?

 

Also the science is not that bad for that universe. It makes sense. And this is coming from a physics student.

Game is not bad. I like Kosame's and the mystery girl's route.

Komomo isn't bad either except that it leads up to Kosame's route. When I mean lead up to it I don't mean that you need to finish her route to get to it. Komomo's story and her past all help set up Kosame's one.

 

The ero scenes on the other hand aren't well thought out. The first day you got out with a girl and then the next couple of days you end up doing it with them. Some of the girls you just have sex with them as soon as you start dating or just before it.

 

And one more thing I would like to say:

Yeah, also the worst part for me. And I've finished ****'s after story in EH already; there was no explanation. Haven't read Mare after story yet, but I doubt it's explained there either.

I think they tried to pull a Clannad but without any forshadowing or hints to it, it just failed so miserably.

If there was a change I could make, it would be to have Chinami say Onii-chan more often.

I too personally thought about Yume like you.
First I completed Asuho route.(I thank Forumfuwanovel for the order though)
 Then the game went downhill pretty much.
What are your opinions about Mare, Aoi and the Twin's route?
