The Legend of Heroes Trails in the sky SC disk 1 help

I have just finish playing The Legend of Heroes Trails in the sky and I want to play The Legend of Heroes Trails in the sky SC, but when I shall start new game, I get *Disk [1] is required to start a new game.

Please close this application and select disc [1] from your game list.

I have it on PC so I can't try, but I read somewhere that if you have the PSN-version each "disc" is a separate game/download. If that's teh case you have to start another one.
