kirbymaser101 Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 for the xclannad games, can the folder be on an external sd card? Running out of my space internally. Quote
Rin Tohsaka Posted January 13, 2014 Posted January 13, 2014 for the xclannad games, can the folder be on an external sd card? Running out of my space internally. I believe this may work for that: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.devasque.fmount Quote
kirbymaser101 Posted January 22, 2014 Posted January 22, 2014 So, did anyone get Katawa Shoujo to work? I get out of resources error even though I tried putting the obb folder both internally and externally. http://pastebin.com/ZyRkVY5W version 6 of course. Quote

Tay Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 So, did anyone get Katawa Shoujo to work? I get out of resources error even though I tried putting the obb folder both internally and externally. http://pastebin.com/ZyRkVY5W version 6 of course. Many people had issues with v6 of the android KS. That guy's going to be coming out with a v7 to fix your issue. Just keep an eye out for the update. v7 is already out. It fixed the issues for me, hopefully it'll work for you, too. Quote
Crysis99 Posted February 1, 2014 Posted February 1, 2014 I don't know if its just me but when I play LB! EX on xclannad iOS, I keep getting a bad end for Mio's route (haven't tried the others) Anyone esle ever had similar problems for any route? Quote

eternal Posted March 1, 2014 Posted March 1, 2014 Hey everyone. I made a Ren'Py game a few months ago and just released it on the Play Store: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.com.biyori.teamneet.sepia I saw some Ren'Py games on the original post so I thought I'd link it. I would offer other suggestions if I could, but it seems all of the relevant EVNs are linked there anyway, and I haven't used VNDS at all. Quote

FinnSanity Posted March 29, 2014 Posted March 29, 2014 With the Clannad Visual novel using xClannad can I pot the folder in the internal storage because my SD card is only 3.69GB and I need 3.89 for Clannad. Or by doing this will the clannad app not be able to locate the files? ~Thanks Quote
theonyxphoenix Posted April 4, 2014 Posted April 4, 2014 Has there been, or are there planned to be, any new novels ported to the VNDS Interpreter for Android? Quote
HappyCat Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 There is following virtualisator, aimed at strategy games, but potentially fit for VNs as well. https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.eltechs.es Personal experience: X-Change 3 (eng) - random characters instead of english text. Sagara Family - runs with ok speed with voice, no midi music. Not full window( Pair of TurboDosbox + win98 never got sane speed here. Kara no Shoujo, Ever 17 - didn't run. Tried on Galaxy Note 10.1 Will try to check more in free period. Quote

Considering that DosBox isn't exactly striving that much for accuracy either, it'd probably be safe to say this emulator is like Zsnes while DosBox is like Snes9x (and QEMU is bsnes?). Here's an absolutely crazy idea that probably won't work due to emulator inaccuracy - what happens if you try to run the Windows 95/98/98SE installer? Quote
HappyCat Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 This one creates guest OS by itself, but I don't know details. I wonder if this idea would collapse and/or owerwrite guest OS) UPD: Someone on 4pda forum actually run Office on ExaGear. As for accuracy - it is based on wine fork. Quote
HappyCat Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 Doublepost is no good, but this deserves separate post. Found no RLVM in this thread, so here it is: https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=is.xyz.rlvm "rlvm is an open source implementation of the RealLive scripting engine. rlvm can run some of Visual Art's/Key games including Kanon Standard Edition, Air Standard Edition, CLANNAD, CLANNAD (Full Voice), Planetarian CD, Tomoyo After, Little Busters and Princess Bride." I'll give it a try as soon (and if) I finish Steins Gate. Quote
Sakamoto Posted April 28, 2014 Posted April 28, 2014 I've tested rlvm and so far these work (with official English patches): Clannad Full Voice: gone through Kyou/Ryou endings Tomoyo After: Played through a few in-game days Kanon: Played through a few in-game days, voices are too soft though Air: Currently playing through, has some minor graphics glitches Quote
Silvz Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 So, my phone is pretty ... 'weak', and I can't even play Where's my Water? properly, so I wanted to know which VN's would work good using these apps in my not-so-good cellphone. I imagine that games like Higurashi and other Onscripter would be the best for me to try, but I don't understand much of the tecnical part of VN's at all .-. Quote
HappyCat Posted April 29, 2014 Posted April 29, 2014 Silvz, give VNDS a try. It's originally made for NDS which is not really a powerhorse. For example. http://visualnovelaer.fuwanovel.net/2013/03/android-sundays-tsukihime Quote
