Japan Raises EMS Shipping Rates

That's correct. Japan's boom with the Yen has also seen an increase in EMS international shipping rates as an email stated to me from a website I order from. To provide an example, the North American, Oceanic, Central American and the Middle Eastern shipping zone has added an additional 500 yen charge to all packages being sent via EMS. Here are the new shipping charts/weights for reference:

This makes me sad.

I'm comparing the site's table with older charts and it's still all the same on all zones.

I wonder if it was just for that specific site and its services. Hmm. It's a third party proxy site so I suppose that makes sense. Thanks for looking into that for me.

That would make sense, yes, since 500 yen is typically what proxy services charge you as a fee.

Not sure why they would say it's EMS raising their rates though.
