Higurashi Ch.2 voice patch

I got the voice patch and the files and tried to implement them like the instructions said but I don't get any voices. I put the s02,19,20 in the SE folder and overrode the SE and Update folders with the files from the patch but when I start the game I still only get the updated graphics and no voices like it already was in Ch.1

Can anyone help me who installed the patch successfully (or upload the StreamingAssets folder)?

The StreamingAssets folder (including the voice files) is around the size of 3-4 gigabytes. Unrealistic expectation for that.

For s19 and s20, did you use the "symlink" method described on the patch instructions? It creates a shortcut to the same folders in your Higurashi CH1 directory if you have that installed and voice patched.

If you did, try again. Make sure you inserted the voices from the Episode 2 Voices archive and not the EP1 one (they're two different downloads).

No I just took the s19 and s20 folder from the last chapter and copied them (together with the new downloaded s02 from the Ch.2 archive) in the SE folder.

are you sure you overwrote the files in the Update directory?

Yes I did that. I also tried overwriting the files from the scripts folder with the ones from the new Update folder afterwards because several people wrote that it helped but the result was the same.

Dunno then, sorry. It's been a while since I worked with that patch.

Ok I got it now somehow. After 2 hours of fruitless work I searched a bit in the script, changed a random 4 to a 3 and now everything works. I have absolutely no idea what this means but who cares. 

That's how programming works I guess.
