I hate all that restoration patch crap. I managed to make it work but with no sound in cutscenes. I'd rather cut my balls than go though that process again.

Also why are people using that old NTLEA when there's Locale Emulator?

Jiskra was requesting a patch for the Steam version in his original comment, because he had already bought the Steam version of the game. He also made it clear he doesn't want to obtain the game illegitimately. My first response to him was not at all angry or anything of the sort, I just pointed out that it would be easier for him to get the jap. version by any means he sees fit, than it is for Pabloc and co. to make another patch for Steam.

Pabloc made his opinion very clear on the idea, but Jiskra kept on persuading it. Then he said the following;

And then I made my second response (the one you quoted). There I pointed out to him that if he really cares about fighting against piracy and supporting Pulltop, he is very able to do so by ordering the jap. copy. And yes, I was very annoyed by his persistence. Not "incredibly angry" as you described, but very annoyed.

Oh, I guess I did misunderstand. Sorry about that. I tend not to keep track of who posted what comment, and so I can miss conversations between two people if they are going on for a long time, perceiving it to be a bunch of random people talking rather than two. Bad habit of mine.

This is utterly awesome.

 

Been soo long since i last read the novel, it will be like reading it for the first time! :D

 

Also, is there any actual news on any other team (or even official people) working on a translation of the fandisc?

 

Or maybe porting the Playstation release of the VN to Steam (since its not 18+)? One would think that being one of the most sold VNs on steam would mean the series would get ports...

I haven't? But it means that the game would be actually translated, should take some time to release the patch though, it could take some months to a few years. Dracu-Riot has been in QC for a long time already, Mahoyo has been in QC for years.

Let me know if you need any help with editing this, read the version released by MoeNovel and the game was really short since they removed a lot of things in the English adaptation of this VN. Would like to see this project all in English, without anything removed.

One question, if i may. Are you also translating the Sweet Love extra scenes?

I remember i already asked you this and the reply was "no", but i belive that was 2 years ago :P

Seeing as he spent so much time on retranslation I doubt he will also do sweet love... Previously someone else was working on it but I have no clue if they still are my guess is it will never be translated.

Ugh, nope. Sweet Love if full of sex-scenes - that's just too much vanilla for me. >_<

Speaking of sex-scenes... now I know why this last damn script is so long. I was kinda suspicious about it, since the previous one needs only a short epilogue, and yeah - one more H-scene! This will take more than a week... -.-' It's good that shipping stuff from Japan takes some time, so I won't get totally distracted by ChronoBox or something. :P

That aside, editing pretty much caught up with the TL already, so we can move on to making the patch and QC-ing everything right after we deal with the last script. ^^

You know I was thinking maybe you could add a few lines at the beginning of the game like "Welcome to the real kono oozora. The way it's actually meant to be played" to really piss off moe novel.

Them not giving a fuck is what I sincerely hope for, to be honest. Because the only reaction I expect from them about this project would include a takedown request (though it's extremely unlikely).

You need a copy of the original Japanese version (made by PullTop not MoeNovel) either Standard or Limited Edition as MoeNovel versions will not be supported.  I don't blame them for not supporting any MoeNovel version plus I believe it's easier for them to work with the original Japanese version since all they have to do is translate it without having to restore all of the adult content.

 

You guys could've just answered his/her question instead of being rude like that.

When there's 40 pages of the same question/answer...it's not unreasonable to expect the person to at least put a little effort in. It doesn't take long to skim through a forum.
