Kara no Kyoukai is definitely my favorite OSTs of all time, but she also did incredible stuff in Madoka, and very good OSTs for Fate/Zero and Sword Art Online (made 50% of the epicness of the fights for the latter!) That explains the epicness in Madoka and FZ and SAO, I didn't know it was her, thx for the info =D Quote

Also awesome and one of my favorites. Little Busters Little Jumper my favorite rendition. Also gets a special mention, motly because I think it's pretty good. I could go on and on, really, like DearDrops whos whole freaking game is one giant, awesome sound-track, but I don't want to fill it up. So, my two absolute favorites: OH MY GOD THIS SONG. SO MANY FEELS WERE HAD. ;-;7 G-Senjou no Maou Close Your Eyes. SAME HERE HOLY SHIT. ;; Funny enough, despite being a bit of a metal head, my two favorites are slow songs. In fact, that piece alone lead me to stay up late to finish Tsubaki's chapter, and cry during Kanon's chapter. And I know that I sound like a broken record with my endless praise for this game, but Saya no Uta. "Sin" is a peace that I've listened to over and over, and "Silent Sorrow" and "Song of Saya I" are beautiful as well. "Scare Shadow" is a great unsettling piece. Quote
garejei Posted August 2, 2013 Posted August 2, 2013 Yeah, I do think soundtracks are essential. They can easily make the enjoyment of a scene skyrocket, if they're used at the right time. My favorite has to be the song "Uzuki" from Muramasa, it kicks in at the start of one of the most important fight scenes in the game and makes the entire experience pretty orgasmic. I also like MLA's opening by Jam Project, but I see it's already been mentioned. Quote
