{fixed}Can I change the format of dialogue boxes in hadaka shitsuji?

I have a copy of Hadaka Shitsuji with an english patch and the game works fine, but I am struggling to read the text in the dialogue boxes because the spacing of characters is really far apart making it hard to tell when there is a space between words.

I was wondering if there is a way for me to change the formatting of the dialogue boxes to make it easier to read (maybe but adjusting the kerning or even the font)
