With Steam it's horrible because there's so many games that you sorta drown in all the shitty ones. Which is why you hear everybody cry out for curation.

With this version the idea could work, because the amount of games is reduced significantly.

This of course is ignoring whether they're excluding games based on offensive content.

Reminds me of Desura, who wanted to be Steam, but for Indie games.

 

How'd that work out? Oh yeah, they filed for bankruptcy.  They had more resources available and a larger install base(Moddb) by far.

 

Also @TexasDice  - Is that a real Steam achievement, like if you install a 18+ patch, it has hidden achievements for it? Also what game? Looks like it's from the girls perspective.
