inarutol Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 I'm looking for a Nakige or Utsuge with a female lead that's like I guess Ayanami Rei? Being almost completely emotionless, quiet, I guess kind of a dandere or kuudere? Preferably, with her having suffered from some sort of abuse, bullying, sickness, or anything like that from the start. I dislike Nakiges that asspull a ilness right at the end. Unstranslated vns are totally fine. Quote
Deep Blue Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 (edited) for utsuge the only thing it comes to my mind for emotionless heroine is narcissu 3rd the mini chapter of irisu and setsumi from narcissu 1, I don't know if it is an utsuge either(I mean narcissu 3rd xD).. maybe a little bit from hatae from konakana but I don't think she really fits from what you are looking for .. and then another in One (that vn that looks like it's from Key ) there is one of the heroine that acts emotionless too. Silvz Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 hmmmm It is not really what you want [since your request is too specific], but I would totally recommend Symphonic Rain. It has a male character, though, but the focus is on the girls' stories and [SPOILERS BELOW] It is very touching, all characters are good and the three main heroines fulfill your requirements, I think. After the 3 main routes, you start a route through the perspective of one of the heroines, Torta, which will tell you the details not only about her but the whole story. Also, one of the heroines suffers abuse from her father and Torta's twin sister has an illness since the begining - which is developed more during the story[/spoilers] The whole game is very emotional and, even though the characters try not to, their stories can get pretty depressing. I really hope you read it and like it Quote
inarutol Posted July 24, 2016 Author Posted July 24, 2016 I have read the three Narcissu entries already. I got to say, I never cried that hard before lol. That's a good rec, I was also thinking about Konakana so I'll give it a try. Symphonic Rain... I remember starting it a long time ago, but I stopped shortly after the first music gameplay thing. I'll pick it up again. Quote
Fred the Barber Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 Take a look at Sekien no Inganock. It's not exactly what you specified, but it's giving off some of the same vibes (it does have the utsuge tag on VNDB, though I'd put it closer to a nakige; and there's no shortage of sickness going around in that game). Maybe it's what you you're looking for, even if you don't know it yet Quote

Chronopolis Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 Gin'iro chapter 1 for the emotionless (well, emotionally detached) lead herione and utsuge. Quote
Clephas Posted July 27, 2016 Posted July 27, 2016 Haruka ni Aogi, Uruwashi no Donoko about fits your bill, though she is the type that opens up a lot once she gets to trust to the protagonist (like a flower). I'm tempted to suggest Semiramis no Tenbin, despite it only fulfilling the abused heroine part... Hello, Lady Eru fits your bill (in the truest sense, since she doesn't have emotions/has only the most limited of emotions). Hikoukigumo no Mukougawa The lead heroine in this one is the redhead, and she isn't emotionless... but the silver-hair fits your bill. Hisoka in Comyu fits your bill, except she isn't the main female lead. Quote
