Applocale not enough for Shikkoku no Sharnoth?

I'm having this issue:

 

 

So I really need to switch my system to full Japanese locale?  I haven't had to do that in yeeaaaaaars thanks to Applocale.

Seems it was AppLocale, after posting this, I tried out this new program https://github.com/xupefei/Locale-Emulator/releases

 

"Locale Emulator" and boom. The issue disappeared.

If you're using applocale make sure its the most recent one called happlocale, mine works fine for Shikkoku

I never used locale emulator but if that works too good job

Yeah, mine is called Happlocale as well. It's wroked for 99% of other VNs, so it's just strange to me this one sticks out.
