Namaiki ~Kissuisou e Youkoso! won't even open. At all.

なまイキ ‐生粋荘へようこそ‐ I cannot get the game to even give the first sign of life. Opening the .exe results in no results.

Windows 10 64bit.

 

My system locale is set to japanese. I tried restarting, admin, and various compatibility modes, nothing. I am going crazy because I have nothing to work with.

Have you tried reinstalling it from scratch?
I have had similar problems with some vn's after installing windows 10 and in some cases it fixed it. (As such it likely has something to do with the register)
