JesterLegacy Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 Just finished Kotori's route in Rewrite and cried a ton......Well, anyway, questions are: (Just in case, I used the spoiler box) 1. Are there explanations whether Koutarou meet Kotori or not in the end? I was hoping for some after credit scenes, but nothing appears.....Could someone tell me what probably happened? I'm fine with a bit of SLIGHT spoilers from the later routes or something as long as it provides a bit of explanation on that. 2. I don't want any spoilers for this one. Now I'm really attached to the first route, can the other routes match the Kotori one? Just want to know..... Quote

The game will explain all, and the explanation you get is the best fucking thing ever; you'll love it. 2. They're all rollercoaster rides of emotion. Some are sadder than others by the end. Quote

They're all rollercoaster rides of emotion. Some are sadder than others by the end. Now, knowing that makes me wondering another thing.....It WILL NOT be a sad tragic explanation, right? I don't think I can hold it if it is a really tragic thing in the end. Just a "yes, it will be tragic", or "no, it won't" type of answer is fine..... Quote

JesterLegacy Posted July 10, 2013 Author Posted July 10, 2013 "Tragic" isn't the word I would use. So, that means, it is not tragic? Well, I just want to know that the explanation will not be "Bad"......Which makes it feel like a bad ending or something...... Quote
Yeah Way Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 So, that means, it is not tragic? Well, I just want to know that the explanation will not be "Bad"......Which makes it feel like a bad ending or something...... IMO, no. It's not bad. Quote
JesterLegacy Posted July 10, 2013 Author Posted July 10, 2013 IMO, no. It's not bad. Okay, that's good to know. Now I'm probably going to ride the coaster of emotions for days....... Thank you Quote
Wahfuu Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 Kotarou and Kotoris relationship actually gets explained a bit more in Terra and its quite brutal, and Kotoris stuff isn't the saddest thing in the whole game. Prepare. Also, about the ending of Kotoris route: in the spin-off, Harvest Festa, it has an after-story of Kotoris route. They do meet in the end and it's quite a fluffy/happy ending, after some teeth pulling to get Kotori to actually answer a confession. Quote

I was worried about mentioning "Terra's" name, but... xD I wouldn't say their relationship therein is more "brutal" at all. Especially since some of it technically happens anyway.. Quote

They're all rollercoaster rides of emotion. Some are sadder than others by the end. When do they explain the enduing of Kotori's route? I played all of Rewrite (although not Harvest festa), and I never found any clear answers to what happens at the end of it. Also, thing is something that's I've been wondering about aswell for a while about the ending of Terra, and I guess this is as good of a time as any to bring it up Just what were these "good memories" that they kept talking about? Right at the end Kagari say "that was a good memory", but I never understood what that memory was Quote

Right at the end Kagari say "that was a good memory", but I never understood what that memory was The question was whether or not an explanation of how Kotori & Kotarou met is given. Honestly, I don't remember if I even figured that out at the end. If I had to guess now, good memories are of humans not fucking up? Or perhaps she meant Kotarou's struggles throughout "Terra". Quote

It seems to be full of unpredictable things....Well, as for the Kotori route is not the saddest, I'm ready to cry more during this amazing ride, I guess. Thank you for answering the second question! Glad that it turned out to be good for those two, even though it is in a spin-off . Also, the order in which I play the routes doesn't matter, right? Quote

It does not matter a whole too much, but I would suggest that you play Chihaya's route after Kotori's and Shizuru's route after Chihaya's, otherwise a few things in those two won't make a lot of sense Quote

Wahfuu Posted July 10, 2013 Posted July 10, 2013 I would do Akanes last. Hers is written by Romeo who wrote the finale portions of Rewrite (Moon/Terra) and its the best lead-in, Imo. DON'T READ, JESTER. I was worried about mentioning "Terra's" name, but... xD I wouldn't say their relationship therein is more "brutal" at all. Especially since some of it technically happens anyway.. Don't read this, Jester. True enough, but at least you don't put a bullet in Kotoris parents in-front of her in the other world possibilities. Spoiler on what memories mean: 'happy memories' basically means 'happy future' to the earth. Basically, the world is suffering because all it sees is humans fight and murder each-other with no future to it. So all it will leave for the earth are 'sad memories' of its children fighting without progressing. 'Happy memories' is to have the earth remember its children leave it and seeking a future elsewhere without being cursed to die without a new frontier. The earth is supposed to take a motherly figure and the humans a child figure. Think of it as a mom seeing a kid turn out to be a murder/rapist/drug addict and whatnot, even as she dies the kid doesn't change her behaviour. That is a sad memory. The happy memory is the mom to see the kid go to rehab, come back and be ready to take on it's future. Quote

Indeed, but at least Kotori doesn't grow up with a false hope of bringing them back, wasting her childhood as a druid with only one friend of whose humanity she is unsure. Quote

It has Kotori afterstory so you need to play that one to find out what happened next (true Rewrite Harvest festa! Isn't yet translated, but it will be true probably not soon) 2. In my opinion other routes are even better than Kotori route especially Chihaya route that is by far the best (At least in my opinion) Quote
