Yes, it's considerably easier to focus on a specialty or how I like to call it "fetish sexual content of the VN" ... Sometimes that's hardcore rape sex, sometimes that's NTR stuff, sometimes it's loli/shota stuff, sometimes it's older women, sometimes it's incest stuff, etc. There's lots of variety and some Japanese companies just keep releasing VNs with the same sexual content. You could say that "they specialize in that particular fetish".

as someone that got into eroge mainly because of the blend between sex and a good story I highly enjoy stories with both in them and where the sex scenes have impact on the story without being too excessive, I adore eroges that can do this succesfully and is mainly the ones I go for since, as said before, it was that factor that got me into the medium in the first place.
