Essenc Posted November 7, 2016 Posted November 7, 2016 I was trying to play Comyu on my new laptop (Windows 10) and something very odd happened. As soon as I started the program, it would either freeze before it even showed up on the screen and I had to close it manually (from the task manager, where it was open as a background task); or it would ACTUALLY appear on the screen and then freeze... At first, I thought the problem came from the game. But when I tried to play "Osananajimi wa Daitouryou~My girlfriend is the President" (which also happens to use the same engine - Kirikiri) it would do the exact same thing. I have tried to find a solution online, I have tried to use solutions for different problems but nothing worked. Does anyone one know what the problem is...? Quote
Yuuko Posted November 8, 2016 Posted November 8, 2016 Have you tried putting these files in the game folder https://mega.nz/#!M8p3xB4Y!a5rp_AaFPOszOcxGeLN0FyWAYbC8JN7cRBRO4se7tEE or installing the official fix patch for Osadai? (Not sure if Coµ has an official one) Quote
Essenc Posted November 8, 2016 Author Posted November 8, 2016 these games were perfectly functional when used on my other computer (Windows 7) I did apply those files to the game folder I also tried booting Noble Works today and that one worked perfectly. I understand that the problem with Osadai might be a matter of reinstalling it and see if that changes anything. I will post again later to say if it was successful or not Quote
Essenc Posted November 9, 2016 Author Posted November 9, 2016 Well, I tried reinstalling Osadai. The same thing occurs... What is confusing to me is that, it happens to Osadai and Coµ, but Noble Works works just fine. And they all use the same engine... Quote
