CorgiKing Posted November 10, 2016 Posted November 10, 2016 Anybody here been watching Rooster Teeths and the late Monty Oum's series? They have been hitting it out of the ballpark with the newest season. I haven't been this excited for a series in a long time. Quote
Soulless Watcher Posted November 10, 2016 Posted November 10, 2016 I've been keeping an eye on it, the show certainly has gotten allot more interesting considering allot of the previous seasons were pretty dull. Although, I have to say I still prefer the doujin series Henceforward . http://dynasty-scans.com/series/henceforward Quote
DarkZedge Posted November 10, 2016 Posted November 10, 2016 I've been watching it and am up to date with the episodes. Quote
pual Posted November 10, 2016 Posted November 10, 2016 Watched first season, fell in love with it's music and bought soundtrack. Quote
Nosebleed Posted November 10, 2016 Posted November 10, 2016 I liked the brushed up graphics in the most recent season quite a lot. 3rd season was a bit of a let down, but the 4th one seems to finally be expanding on the lore and giving us those juicy details of what is to come. Now if only I can get some Ruby x Weiss action, that'd be great. Quote
CorgiKing Posted November 10, 2016 Author Posted November 10, 2016 The white rose shipping is strong in this one. Still wish we had some more highlights on the bros. We barely know anything about Ren, Sun, and Neptune. Least Jaune gets to have some limelight. Quote
EastCoastDrifter Posted November 10, 2016 Posted November 10, 2016 I feel like RWBY has been improving since season 3 now that its story is coming together into one single plot. When I started watching the series, the short length of the episodes made it seem like everything was being crammed in and left out at the same time, which left a lot of questions unanswered. Now we're getting more into the lore of the setting and the introduction of some more serious villains, so it'll be interesting to see what happens next. Quote
Khazit Posted November 11, 2016 Posted November 11, 2016 The lost of Monty has negatively impacted the action in volume 3 and 4 IMO. The action is so stiff now. On the other hand, the plot is getting better. Quote

No flow to it and so stiff I'm going to have to agree. Monty had a very distinctive fluid style to action and choreography. No one on rooster teeth seem able to copy his style. Quote
andzalot55 Posted November 20, 2016 Posted November 20, 2016 Even though I'm up to date with the series, I felt like seasons 1 and 2 when Monty was still alive made the series a lot better. Season 3 in my opinion didn't feel the same (not plot wise) as compared to season 1 and 2 though I am enjoying season 4 right now. Quote
