Would anyone here be willing to download my VN to test it out? :)

Hey there! 

So my vn has been done for quite some time... I just haven't been able to release it because I can't find testers. I just need a few people to download the VN from the site (itch) and tell me if it works. Because there's a fairly good chance I did something wrong along the way and need to fix something up. PC and Mac users needed!

I had the same feeling. But... Penholder seems so nice... why not try it, right?

 

Edit: oops, forgot to comment. Can you share more info, such as setting, plot, genre and other stuff about the game? It would help a lot to decide if we knew it.

Also, I basically just need to know if it opens once downloaded. You're more than welcome to read it, but my worries is that it may not open correctly on both platforms.

it works but holy crap you need to find a way to make the window adjustable. its waay too big for my 1680x1050 resolution.

You can just minimize and then maximize the window and then it should adjust to your screen. What platform did you use if you don't mind me asking?

I honestly don't understand the differences between Windows, PC, Mac, Linux, etc. I mean, they're all computers right? This has baffled me for years as to why there are different types of these when I've always thought Windows was the universal computer.

Windows is not a computer, it's an OS (short for Operating System) ... Mac is short for Macintosh and it's developed by Apple, this one is a computer, and it also has its own OS (for example OS X is an OS for Macintosh) ... Linux is an OS too ... There are many operating systems out there for different purposes and different classifications for each ... OS is not hardware, it's software, that's the major difference so OS ≠ computer ... Windows is not universal computer, it's an OS, and it's used widely by general PC users so you might get an impression that it's universal but it's not, many people use different operating systems ... I, for example, also use Ubuntu (which is a distro of Linux) and Windows 7 ...
