College Alternative Textbooks

I recently saw a post on tumblr and i couldn't help but spread the word and share it, so this college student spend over 200$ on a book that his/her professor wrote (legit, huh?), he/she later found out that it was no different to an old paperback edition book she found for 5$, and she/he posted a few links to alternatives to buying overpriced textbooks, i thought i shared this since i know people spend like 1k or even more on college/uni books, and i myself am headed there in a few years >,< i took the liberty of copy-pasting the links for those interested ^^

i apologize if this seems like a spam post or something and i know this has nothing to do with the VN/Anime/manga community, but it seriously enraged me that a professor would charge 200$ for a book you can find elsewhere way cheaper

that stuff was expensive

I got fairly lucky with mine. I don't recall any of them, besides the math book, as being overly expensive.
