Shiru Posted December 29, 2016 Posted December 29, 2016 (edited) Otome games are okay too as long as they can be played on PC! I'd like ones that have: Preferred setting: ancient japanese era, or crazy denpa/occult VNs like subahibi Mostly voice-acted Has plot NOT moege/nukige, charage is OK Osananajimi heroine & those with good soundtracks will be a huge + Thank you in advance! That VN is the classic VN that really defined Denpa as a genre, so a must read for Denpa fans I think. Incidentally I am currently reading subahibi and loving it. Quote

Please define what you mean by ancient Japanese... Japan has been around as a country in one form or another for over fifteen hundred years, but so far the VNs covering its history only go back to the 1500's. This is only natural, since the long peace after the Sengoku era was conducive to the leaving of records and documentation of past events, without the usual whitewashing and erasure of old history documents that tends to occur otherwise.
