Danganronpa 1 - Screen issue

I feel like I've been making more threads than actually participating in the forums. Sad that every problem happens with me, right?

I bought Danganronpa on Steam and as soon as it started, it noticed this problem. In the left ( <<< ) corner of my screen [See on spoiler]. It is a white line that appears on the top of the screen.

It blinks a lot [sparkles? shines? so many verbs!] and it first looked like my notebook monitor was broken, but I noticed that this only happens during the game. As soon as I close it, or even Alt+Tab it, it goes away.

I'm afraid it can harm my monitor, since it looks like those "dead squares" of when a monitor breaks [I forgot the expression for this]

is that static (always on the same place)...?
if yes, probably not the game, but something wrong with your monitor...
dead pixels, probably...

THAT, DEAD PIXELS, the word I was looking for

anyway, it is not, since it only happens with the game. I've tested everything else and only Danganronpa didn't workd properly
