Mephisto Posted August 5, 2013 Posted August 5, 2013 Unfortunately I'm not allowed to torrent while at college or else my internet privileges will be revoked for 30 days. So I was wondering if there are any good anime streaming sites that anyone knows about, or any sites that offer direct download on to browser so the quality is retained. Quote
Sanya Posted August 5, 2013 Posted August 5, 2013 You can download anime via XDCC on the irc channel #news. If you don't know how to XDCC: http://haruhichan.com/wpblog/index.php/1128/how-do-i-use-xdcc.html Quote
Mephisto Posted August 5, 2013 Author Posted August 5, 2013 Does using XDCC result in high bandwidth usage/anything detectable? It's not torrents specifically that is banned, but the downloading of illegal files using university internet. Quote
Sanya Posted August 5, 2013 Posted August 5, 2013 Generally, it use all of your down bandwidth (that's the case for me at least), and it result in a very fast downloading. I don't think it's detectable unless there is something to watch your use of bandwidth but you can use something like NetLimiter. Quote
Igniz Posted August 5, 2013 Posted August 5, 2013 I use one called gogoanime.com its pretty good aside from the adds. Most anime streaming sites have this thing now that if you have an add blocker enabled, it wont let you maximize the screen, thus not letting you read subs. This page is pretty quick on the subs most of the time. Quote
Garu-sama Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 http://www.lovelyanime.com has high quality videos with multiple mirrors which is handy to have Quote

Eldin Posted August 14, 2013 Posted August 14, 2013 Animeseason.com is what I always use. I use this as well. I also use http://eyeonanime.com/ when i can't find something on animeseason, but I would check your anti-virus with that one. more than once has that site tried to give my computer herpes... Quote
