Persona 5's options

I just started out Persona 5, first time playing the series and am I blind or is the options really lacking? Like I need the change the screen ratio and turn off or at least turn down that headache inducing, repetitive porn sound music they call a soundtrack. I searched some game forums but couldn't really find a clear answer between other people looking for the same answers and people just trolling so I thought I'd try here haha.

Mmm... I never had problems with the music.  Did you check the options under the save-load part of the menu?  I don't think there is anything you can do about the screen ratio though... I don't recall any options that looked like they were involved with that.  Sadly, console games aren't as flexible as pc ones, and Japanese games aren't as flexible as western ones.

The music's just louder than the characters coming through my TV so it's hard to hear them, and I heard about some Japanese Companies don't really bother with things like that as well I guess this game is just another those then :L

I would suggest switching to the Japanese voices if you aren't already using them, since they came through even over the music when I was playing the game...  if you don't already have them, they are free dlc.

I've got it downloaded and I'll switch over now and see if there's a difference thanks

Shame.

Seriously though, for me it was the opposite. The voices were too dang loud and I didn't want to be constantly blasted with the nonsensical yelling during battles, but there's no way to turn it down. Just gotta live with it. Who knows, maybe someday you'll get better musical taste.

Pfft Please everyone knows The Witcher 3 has the best soundtrack of the past ten years as opposed to hearing this and feeling as if Ron Jeremy's gonna jump out at you at any second.
