Hatsukoi 1/1: Videos not playing?

So I feel like I'm getting towards the end of Midori's route and I haven't seen the OP movie yet. I know there is one, because there's a *.wmv file in the game directory for it. Is there a bug in the game that prevents videos from playing? I'm super nervous the ending movies won't play either, but I'm not there yet.

Also it's my understanding that there's a "logo" movie that plays when  you open the game, but I haven't seen that one either. It's also a WMV file.

Anyone run into this problem?

The logo movie is the very first thing you see when game is opened.

If the logo is not showing up, it's possible the game had trouble initializing the video renderer and silently skips the movie. I've only seen this happen on some systems running Windows 8 and 10.

Here's a workaround you could try:

1. Go into the game's "savedata" folder (might be located under "Documents\tone work's" if you installed the game)
2. Open the file called "system.ini"
3. Look for the line that says #MOVIE_TYPE = 1  and change the value to 0.

Now, could you tell me where in the common route the OP movie begins? I already played through one route, so I want to make sure I don't miss the video when I'm skipping through next time. Thanks!!
