Transferring Rewrite save data?

I got a new laptop recently so I'm transferring and re-installing many programs, including Rewrite. After installing it and applying the English patch (r4) it starts up as a new game.

I've tried copying the savedata folder over (it only has a configuration settings file in it) but that didn't do anything. 

Which files need to be moved to transfer my complete save game data?

I should probably mention, my old laptop is a bit disorganized, but I'm sure I can find what I need once I know where to look.

the save data is saved in "global.sav" file, which you can find at:

X:\Users\UserName\Documents\Key\Rewrite\SaveData\    (for Win 7+)
or
X:\Documents and Settings\UserName\My Documents\Key\Rewrite\SaveData\   (for Win XP)

X = drive where you install windows
UserName = your own user name
