AIR not launching

Whenever I activate realive.exe an alert message entirely in Japanese comes up and the screen goes black with very low resolution. I have the unicode set to Japanese and everything, so I don't know why it's happening.

I tried looking up for other similar problems in the forums, but it wouldn't let me search up "air" because it was only 3 letters... therefore, I don't even know if there is a similar problem that has been solved, so I apologize if I'm asking a repeat question.
