I figured I'd put up a list of games with 'amoral protagonists' who aren't necessarily villainous by nature. An amoral protagonist can also be called a pragmatist, someone who acts solely for what he thinks is best, for the motives that drives him and doesn't consider the moral context of his actions to be relevant in considering whether to take such an action.

Incidentally, I'm not counting nukige or rapegames. In first case, the moral question is never really considered and in the second, it strays over the line into the 'villainous protagonist' area of things.

The protagonists from Saya no Uta and G-senjou no Maou also fall under this category. The protagonist from Kikokugai -The Cyber Slayer- could also fall under the category, depending on how you viewed the story.

Have to disagree on Izuna though. Kotarou, unlike Asagiri Kaito, definitely not doing what he wants to do. He's moved by sense of duty, "lesser evil" logic and his master orders, he definitely does his "job" as "I have to", not as "I want to".
