Dangan Ronpa: Crosshair doesn't respond to objects

I've just downloaded PPSSPP on PC yesterday and the game Dangan Ronpa.

This is the first time I play the game at all.

There's a scene where you get to inspect the object by moving the crosshair (cursor) to that object and pressing X to inspect it. However, when I move the crosshair to that object, it doesn't show up. Here's two screenshot from the PPSSPP emulator on PC.

you could always play it on the psp with custom firmware,it works really well
