Need help using VNR on Kimi ga Aruji de Shitsuji ga Ore de

Translate text doesn't appear. Other VN works fine with VNR. Please help!!!

First of all, is this the PC version? VNR have a low success rate with emulators.

Second, run the novel and in the VNR blue side menu, enter Text Preference under the first option. In the window that pops up, try to:

1) Change the text encoding to JIS, UTF16 or UTF8. Pick the one that gives you boxes with actual japanese text and not gibberish.

2) Check the first option "Keep all threads... blah blah blah" and hit the blue "Save" at the top.

3) Check if the box with the correct text in marked as "dialog" above it.

Then go back to the novel and advance the text. If still nothing, try using ITHVNR or Chiitrans.

First of all, yes this is the PC version

1) I try all options and none works. There is only one box with no text in the text preference

2) I check this option and click save. Still doesn't work

3) There is only one box and yes it's marked at "dialog". 

The only box available with no text has the word "not specified -1" on the top right next to the dialog, name, other, ignore text. If i understand correctly this might mean it needs hook code to work? 

I also try other option to try to get hook code like using ITH and ITHVNR but I can't get them to work and this is with all VNs not just this one.

Chiitrans got some Trojans on my pc and I had to uninstall it XD 

I try to search the online wiki using the link in VNR for hook code but couldn't find the hook code for Kimi ga Aruji de Shitsuji ga Ore de.

Hmm... based on what you're saying, yes, VNR is not finding a text thread. A hook code should probably make everything work. ITH is the best way to extract these codes, too bad you couldn't make it work :/

I always get the error "fail to attach ITH to process" when I try to attach the VN using ITH do you know how to solve it?

No, I never used ITH before (maybe I got lucky with my novels...). Did you try to look here for a solution? This thread teaches you about how to use ITH.

I read this guide already and follow it as much as I could since there were some inconsistency with the old version and new version if i remember correctly. Thanks to you I know for certain it's a hook code problem so once again thank you very much
