Trying to remember a anime based on a visual novel

Drives me nuts because i never finished it. I basically don't remember anything other than one of the heroines being painted by protag's brother or cousin. That airheaded heroine thought it was supposed to be nude, but it wasn't. Well, weird thing to remember, but that's all i got :/ 

I think there was a translation which failed to complete on this vn also.

Nope, it isnt canvas. Canvas was about the rivalry between mc and his friend over a girl. I've both read the vn and seen the anime. The one im thinking of has the painting as a side thing, and done by mc's brother (think its brother).

Hoshizora e Kakaru Hashi is the anime i was talking about. After digging in my folder i finally found it. Not particularly good tbh.
