Check out your video drivers. To install them, update them, it's something about video stuff I suppose. Google your computer brand and model and drivers, usually manufacturers will have a website with all their drivers. The best is if you can find official driver downloads, nowadays computer manufacturers distribute some kind of software that download for you all the Windows driver you need. Also, maybe is a DirectX problem, google up latest Windows direct x install and install the latest DirectX, just to be sure.

As an unwritten law, only install software from official sources (examples: drivers from your computer brand  website, specific video driver from NVIDIA website if you've got an NVIDIA card)
