StrategyMasterz Posted April 28, 2018 Posted April 28, 2018 Hello there, I've recently been looking for visual novels that have changeable language in one click. I remember playing 1 or 2 VNs and accidentally pressed J and some buttons and the language would change to Japanese and English. So I would like to ask if you have seen any visual novel like what I have described. I am trying to learn Japanese and a lot of the people that I questioned about learning Japanese would similarly answer and recommend this method. Any type of visual novel is good. Quote

StrategyMasterz Posted April 28, 2018 Author Posted April 28, 2018 (edited) Is it really just phantom trigger? Does it work on like their other Grisaia series? Edited April 28, 2018 by StrategyMasterz Grammar .-. Quote
snowbell55 Posted April 28, 2018 Posted April 28, 2018 It's not exactly 1 click, but the all ages version of Wagamama High Spec has English and Japanese options and takes less than 5 clicks to change between them Quote

tymmur Posted April 28, 2018 Posted April 28, 2018 Go! Go! Nippon! can display English and Japanese at the same time. However a more interesting question: do people really want this? I mean if people read a translation, is there an interest in reading the Japanese version as well? If so, then why? Quote

They try to read it in Japanese and refer to the English version if they don't understand something. It's the same as reading bilingual books, I guess. Weiterfechten, adamstan and Fiddle 3 Quote
Fred the Barber Posted April 28, 2018 Posted April 28, 2018 Karakara (all ages and 18+) and Corona Blossom (all ages and 18+ patch) also support English and Japanese switching. Karakara has a delightful translation, too. Quote
