There's a ton of JRPGs for PC. Many are not translated. Here's some I'd recommend:

Eternal Aselia (localized)

Sengoku Rance (fan translated)

Kamidori Alchemy Meister (fan translated)

Duel Savior (fan translated)

Daibanchou (fan translated)

Japanese:

Ikusa Megami Zero (or any game from Eushully)

Thanks for sharing those, sanahtlig! Never knew there were all those JRPGs on the PC. I always thought there's a disappointing lack of titles on this platform. Though honestly, the real problem is finding time to enjoy them .

It's not on PC, but I've been getting pretty into Luminous Arc 2 on the DS. Looking forward to Fire Emblem Awakening, too. Sorry for going off topic ! For the PC, as mentioned in an earlier post, I've played through Utawarerumono several years ago. For a visual novel, the combat is actually really well done. The cast is also likeable, which is so important. I've tried to play Tears to Tiara recently, but for some reason was unable to get into it the same way I got into Utawarerumono. It might just be my lack of patience as of late, though.

Tears to Tiara (PC) is somewhat mediocre. The romance is particularly lacking, since the protagonist just rotates through each heroine as one chooses shirts. I'd say all the titles I recommended are a tier above Tears to Tiara. The gameplay of Kamidori Alchemy Meister is particularly addictive, although the story is nothing special (definitely not Eushully storytelling at its best).

never played kamidori yet, though i wanted to, got a download error when i downloaded it( 73% i guess--lucky me )

but i think the best way to play good JRPGs in pc is to use emulators(well its not pc game of course )

Eien no Aselia and its Japanese sequel were awesome SRPG's. The Kamidori series is also pretty good; I believe Seiha translated one of them.
