I'm 31, married in the suburbs, with a special needs son.  My significant other reads 'romance novels' of the paperback variety (well, EPUB) which I'm sure are just as bad as most VNs.  It's really no big deal. You like planes, but you don't want to be a pilot. You love dogs, but you're allergic to fur. You get hard from humiliating women, but you know better than to act on it. It's all the same.
