Ouraibaa Hjyuraa Posted August 8, 2014 Posted August 8, 2014 Yeah I know that and I am pleased with AMD and always had. I agree with every point you say. But it is hard when somethnig is wrong but you don't know what. I hate dismantling my computer to find that little problem. There are always gonna be problems, no matter the hardware. On the topic of AMD vs Nvidia, I really hope AMD survives Maxwell. Quote
Ouraibaa Hjyuraa Posted August 8, 2014 Posted August 8, 2014 it is a generalization I wouldn't say that AMD is hotter than Nvidia in general. The high-end cards of both manufactures would benefit from a secondary fan. Quote
havoc Posted August 8, 2014 Posted August 8, 2014 Mine has got two fans as well as heat pipes. It all depends on who makes your nvidea or amd cards Quote

DimDito Posted August 8, 2014 Posted August 8, 2014 amd gets much hotter that is why i dont like them, nvidia you can overclock quite a bit. Well not that i have seen a need for it yet. Nvidia also has PhysX full-on support, which is like in every game now. Then again it doesn't matter much whether or not you enable it. Quote

I have never played around with Nvidia GPU's, but PhysX worked fine. It was a little boring, though, so I didn't bother with it after a few hours. Not worth the extra power on a mid-range GPU. Quote
Nahichun Posted August 8, 2014 Posted August 8, 2014 I´ll also buy a PC soon -ish. Currently I am planning to have something like this: I7 -4770K Asus Maximus VI Formula 2x Gtx 780 ti in SLI But I´m not sure what kind of RAM yet. As for Storage I´ll probably get one small SSD for the OS and one larger WD HDD. Quote

My motherboard is, like, really bad. Quote

That should give you an idea of the software's functionality. Listening to you all talking about GPU, reminds me of my laptop's graphic card - Integrated Intel Graphics *pats FinalChaos. Quote

Ouraibaa Hjyuraa Posted August 8, 2014 Posted August 8, 2014 That's what everyone is saying, haven't seen it myself. It's better than your average superhero movie, but it's not worth the 9/10s and 10/10s that some people are giving it. Quote

The best superhero movie is The Dark Knight, and I'm now waiting for Batman vs. Superman putting my trust in DC that they will do a good job. Quote

FinalChaos Posted August 8, 2014 Posted August 8, 2014 I thought Batman vs. Superman was gonna be a comedy? I actually just wanna see Batman beating Superman to a pulp, I couldn't care less if it was a comedy(comedy might actually be better you know). Quote
Ouraibaa Hjyuraa Posted August 8, 2014 Posted August 8, 2014 Hmm. "On 8th August 2014, the World Health Organization declared it (Ebola) to be an international public health emergency." Well, that's not good. Quote

Thanks for stating the obvious. On a related note there is no cure and the only vaccine available is still in development so no one knows its long term effects... Quote

I mean, WHO are they to be declaring international emergency? It hasn't even infected that many countries. Quote
