FinalChaos Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 The same place I got this: "I can see all the individual fibers, Rin!" Â In none of the 3 known Fate timelines (Fate, UBW, and HF) does Shirou Emiya become Archer. Hence the Shirou in the CG fucking Rin is not Archer. Quote

havoc Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 No, no. He is a young archer alright. He's the best the arching club has to offer, even if he was on hiatus at that point. Â Quote
Ouraibaa Hjyuraa Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 That's not necessary. He might become Archer in any of those routes. It isn't clearly depicted whether he becomes Archer or not. Quote
Ouraibaa Hjyuraa Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 Â Ouraibaa mayby you should go read the vn again. As it seems like you have not yet read it good enough yet. Quote
Mr Poltroon Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 He's a young archer, but he isn't a young Archer. You wrote "Archer" with a Captial A, so you can't pretend that you meant it as someone who does/has done archery. Quote
Ouraibaa Hjyuraa Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 So "Archer" has different connotations depending on whether or not it has a capital letter? Is this not unparalleled in the english language? Well, I wouldn't really know, Mr. QC'er. Quote
Mr Poltroon Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 https://www.englishclu b.com/writing/caps0.htm In Portuguese: Numbers 2, 3, 7, 9 and 11(so long as it isn't in itallic) stay the same. Numbers 5, 4 and 1(obviously) do not hold true (although holidays are still capitalized). Number 6 is a bit messier. We can use lower case to refer to titles, such as doctor, saint and professor, but capitals also work. Names have to be capital, though. Number 10 is also different. Even if the book is titled "And Then There Were None", in portuguese it'd become "And then there were none".  There's also a couple more headaches in portuguese: 1- Maths or maths, either would be fine. Sciences or sciences. 2- North, South, East and West cannot be capitalized, however, when you mean it as a certain place instead of general direction(ex: "I moved to the North", as in, north of portugal), it has to be capital.  Now, just imagine that all this was implemented in 1990, when I already knew how to write, and that they only actually started to worry about teaching kids to write like this 4 bloody years ago. People like me have no idea how this balderdash works... Well, I wouldn't really know, Mr. QC'er.  Anyhow, I wrote Archer because that's how other people spelt it. Furthermore, the Portuguese language is a mess right now, only names get Capital letters, every other sodding word has to be lower case now, and since I like Capitals, I welcome every opportunity I get. i wanna bet dutch is a bigger mess, but only because it has always been a mess. havoc Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 To be honest, everyone says their language is a mess because they compare it to English. There's a reason English became an official language for the world (other than the British Empire spanning 1/4 of the world). Quote
Mr Poltroon Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 Arent you forgetting a pair of other languages. Like you know Spanis and Chineese? Quote
havoc Posted October 18, 2014 Posted October 18, 2014 But let me give you a good example of dutch language idiocy. (I need to vent some frustration) Â A few years back they changed something so words that where previously written with a c are now written with a k and before they where written with a c they where written with a k. Why do you keep changin thing back and forwards? Â Just like words that you speak with a T you spell with a D or dt. And it all depends on the form they are written in. Â Example the word for to become in dutch is, word but you can also write it als wordt and that depends entirly on the rest of the sentence behind it. Quote
