Majikoi has serious technical issues that were masked with the censorship. Like I mentioned earlier

there's a couple of scenes where Yamato goes from pussy to anus and there's no transition to illustrate that. NOTHING, NADA, ZIP, SILCH, ZERO.

The same CG for pussy sex is reused for anal without them bothering to include a simple dick movement. And just because it was censored, we wouldn't

realise it. GUESS WHAT, without the censoring there's a buttload of CG transition mistakes, mixed order, and CG recycling. Funny, since the CG's are in the

proper order if you browse them on the CG gallery.

I started Muv-luv the other day. Gotta say even though the art style takes a bit getting used to, it's probably one of the most technically sound VN's I've played. Everything just works well and doesn't take too much finetuning. Also I love their use of visual and auditive effects. Imagine this game was released in 2003.

 

Can't say anything about the story yet, because I haven't played enough of it yet.

 

Edit: Also, hotkeys. Gotta love them hotkeys.

I didn't play it myself, but I watched a let's play of it, being originally unvoiced milbee took upon himself the task of recording his playthrough while voicing all of the characters... he got a strike for a minimal case of no censoring, a millisecond of bewbs... quite the hassle at that time... anyway I really enjoyed it, was rofl-ing half of the time at his reactions to everything. In the end he had about 110 half-hour episodes of it, releasing one every other day.I DLed KS for the censored stuff, but I saw the main part of it there, definitely worth a watch... first episode in the playlist:

Seriously great Youtube series. I was there too with the Emiboob scandal. There was literally 1 frame (1/30 second) of H-scene left uncensored. I wouldn't even have known if it wasn't for the comments, and the fact that his channel was shut down within a few hours. Shame that after that, I felt like he never really got into it anymore so I didn't finish watching it.

 

I have to agree though that his reactions made it such a great series at least as much as the game itself. (Hanako's H-scene was so fucking awkward.)

 

Now that I think of it, had I not seen these videos I wouldn't have started playing KS, and I'd probably never have gotten into VN's at all. :/
