Ouraibaa Hjyuraa Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 Is Mikasa from Titan Yandere? or Kagari from Witch Craft Works Mikasa is most likely a Yandere. I mean, look at her reaction when Eren doesn't want to kill Annie. I am a massive fan of the True Love that Yanderes offer tho. If I could get Yuno in real life I would be okay with having no friends or connections with anything but Yuno. I don't see why people dislike Overly Attached Girlfriends. I mean, I would be happy just HAVING a girlfriend in the first place. (<--- 17 year old, never had a relationship. *Weeps silently*) Aren't there any single girls in this thread somewhere...? it scares me to know that if anyone translating said they wouldnt do it unless me made an army it would only take like a week before we had an army I wonder if the translation team could blackmail people with the prospect of not finishing the translation. It's about time I upgraded my PC, hehe. ^__^ I'm fine with the commitment and attachment level, I would probably be incredibly happy with it and stay very loyal, however i have a lot of female friends (i'm likeable due to being knowledgeable in a large amount of subjects and coming across as "a nice guy", however I have been friend-zoned and even worse... brother-zoned several times due to being deemed "not particularly attractive"), so her trigger would likely instantly get pulled and cause issues, even though there's very little chance of anyone spontaneously jumping onto me. Boohoo, at least you have girls in your life. I've only ever had a crush once, simply because there has hardly ever been any girls around. (Aside from my two older sisters.) Quote

(<--- 17 year old, never had a relationship. *Weeps silently*) The day where we agreed on something was today. Girlfriends like that are the best, I mean, wouldn't you want a faithful girl that would do whatever you want her to? I'm quite S (although people tend to think the opposite xD), so having a girlfriend that only looks at you and, probably, would follow every command of yours... Yeah, gimme three! Scared of being killed? Just don't look too much at other girls and all that, and make sure she doesn't look at other boys, so you can turn yandere on her (?) Quote
Ouraibaa Hjyuraa Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 The day where we agreed on something was today. There are always exceptions to the rule, after all. You just need to continually proclaim your undying love to her. You can still have some contact with others of the opposite sex if you do. Just crush any seeds of doubt as soon as you can. Quote
Ouraibaa Hjyuraa Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 Completely off topic. So, I was looking at the promo for the new Fate Stay Night anime, and then the new Kara no Kyoukai anime, and when I was done squealing in a mix of delight and impatience, I went to Ufotable's wiki page to see what else they were working on. One of the other shows they're working on caught my eye. It's called "Girls' Work". Here's the description: "Girls' Work, a new all-ages work written by ex-Liarsoft members Hoshizora Meteor and Myogaya Jinroku. Apparently featuring the city of Shinjuku as the main character." Did you notice that? No? How about now?: Girls' Work, a new all-ages work written by ex-Liarsoft members Hoshizora Meteor and Myogaya Jinroku. Apparently featuring the city of Shinjuku as the main character." What. The. Fuck. The main character is a city? What the hell, Type-moon? I know your stuff is awesome, but what the fuck is this? And a completely unrelated question: What's you guys favourite non-canon yuri couple? For me, it would be Shiki (Kara no Kyoukai.) x Saber (Fate/Zero.) GIMME! Of course, Saber x Irisviel could also work. As for canon couples, Chikane x Himeko all the way! *.* Sorry for the off topic post, but... I'm bored. Quote

Somehow when i started to play Miyako's route i couldn't found this thread or anything about translating route to the end. So i played it with translator from Japanese to English. BUT! English is not my 1st language... And sometimes it was a real problem, because i had to combine words that translator gives me (English words) to something readable and understandable to my 1st language (translating from Japanese to it at once is not an option because i get really words' mess...) But i managed to finish it, though lost a lot of pleasure of course, and it's even more sorrowfully because Miyako is my favourite girl in Majikoi ever. So if we finally get English version (i believe we really get) i'll start to play this cursed route again)) With full of pleasure this time. Quote

Technically speaking, VNreader is only useful if others who understands Japanese has used it. You can correct any sentences you find along the way, and send the information to the community. Problem is, people who are fluent are enough to send in subtitles, and bothers, few and far between. Quote
Guest saka15 Posted January 25, 2014 Posted January 25, 2014 I cant just believe it takes this much effort to get past language barriers the material is there but most of us cant understand it i constantly think about learning japanese but when i look in the internet if its hard to learn hallf of it says JAPANESE IS HARD, JAPANESE IS HARD, JAPANESE IS HARD and the other half says JAPANESE IS NOT THAT HARD, JAPANESE IS NOT THAT HARD, JAPANESE IS NOT THAT HARD so im not sure what to think but i think il give it a chance in the in the not too distant future it possibly or rather probably will at least demand dedication and hard work and its really depressing that i dont think that i ever seen nor heard about a non japanese person who knows japanese as well as a native in at least the vn or anime community tough i cant say for sure Quote

Nixzilla Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 If you could pay people to translate without the company getting there panties in a bunch this wouldn't be a problem anymore there would be like 200 kickstarters for hiring translation teams. Cyber2405 1 Quote

Guest Canadian Walrus Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 I hope that one day, in the near yet distant future, that VN's get so popular the game developers that make VNs actually translate them. That or (as Nixzilla said) they lift their position on Kickstarting Translation teams. Quote

cro-mag Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 Hell most people, such as myself, would probably be more than willing to make a small, say 2 dollars, donation to a translation team directly through paypal. Agree. I thought about it. And i once had that idea - what if some Japanese company, just as an experiment, decided to translate any popular VN there? I think they'll be surprised how popular this genre can be outside of Japan... Quote
SieghartXx Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 Paid translations would be quite popular actually, there's lots of people out there that would want a game to be translated and would gladly pay for it xD there was this Kickstarter project, I think it was for romanesque, that got more than enough funds in a few days, but it was cancelled due to legal thingies. If they did it legally like mangagamer or such, heck, we would see so many new translations xD There was a thread where we talked about that if Mangagamer did something similar to Kickstarter, and letting their buyers choose the titles they wanted translated, they would have a huge boost in popularity and selling D: Quote
Ouraibaa Hjyuraa Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 I wouldn't at all mind getting paid for doing this, lol. I know I could do better quality checking than Mangagamer, that's for sure. Quote
Azengar Posted January 26, 2014 Posted January 26, 2014 The problem with getting paid is that we're not legally okay, first we should be able to reach a compromise with the games developpers and I know many of them don't really like the idea of seeing their games be published in the west. But maybe someday we'll be able to bring visual novels overseas. (in a more legal way^^) Quote

Are they maybe making Anime of Fate 3rd route Havens Feel ? Ufotable, the makers of Fate/Zero and Kara no Kyoukai, announced some time ago that they're making a new Fate Stay Night anime. A promo was released in December. You can watch it here. It is mostly clips from Fate/Zero, bundled with clips from the Realta Nua openings that Ufotable did right after Fate/Zero. However, at 2:35 they show us some all-new clips. I think that the reproduction you're talking about is the one made by DEEN, no? Or is it Fate/Zero you mean? Also, it's not confirmed what route they're making. There are clips from all routes in the promo, but they're from the Realta Nua openings. Currently, there are no information other than that it'll come out this year. Quote
