There's no fixing you.

If you need help I can start fixing all his sentences and criticizing him, in hopes of him starting to use proper English.

It's not like I have anything better to do than disprove that statement of yours, anyways.

You know I'd never ask you to do the impossible, Tiago. I'm a realist (Most of the time, anyway.)

this thread should be closed. all people posting "wow i just ate some goooooood breakfast today how was your morning ^-^" should be banned. and the person who said they would translate this and led me on for a year should be shot

Attitude problems are none of my concern.

To check the translation progress and updates on a regular basis use this thread: https://forums.fuwanovel.net/index.php?/topic/6556-majikoi-translation-project/

I do advise that you check the topic title before posting though, that's kind of useful.

Hey we don't help those kind of people.

And how would you determine "what kind of person" he is?

He was rather annoyed at how a thread about a route that he was looking forward to getting translated suddenly got reduced to random chatter. He thought that he'd never get the translation, so he expressed his heavily biased opinion.

What were his problems?

-Attitude was definitely all wrong, but this is the internet, where everyone is anonymous, he's got better things to worry about than that.

-He commented about it, but he should have read the thread and all updates carefully first. As is, he just seems like a whiny kid who didn't bother reading about how the translation got a new thread.

-It definitely feels like trolling. That's all well and good with me. Even if he is, I did all that was possible to help with his alleged problems, if he gets satisfaction from that, good for him, because so do I.

He was definitely not the first person to present any of these problems, however.

We've gotten plenty of people who didn't read the latest post and asked for an update on the translation, even if his question had been answered moments prior.

Trolling is par for the course in this thread, no reason to jump the gun on this particular one.

His attitude was the only problem that stood out, and that too is subjective. What kind of attitude should a person have on the internet? I may act like a nice person (or do I? I'm not even sure myself), but have you counted how many times I've insulted someone in this thread? Maybe he was simply exaggerating in order to get his feelings across. Does that make him a bad person? Maybe he is a nice guy who's extremely bad or sensible when dealing with his worse emotions. Maybe I'm just spouting nonsense at this point.

Come now, Tiago. Don't bully the kid. It's not his fault he's young and ignorant.

Bully? He was trying to shove his single-minded opinions onto me, so I gave him a taste of mine.

Also, considering the time it took for me to write that, I get sad when I see a reply a couple of minutes after.

pretty sure calling someone a fag on a separate post is not the way to go about it even someone with bad judgement knows that. (by separate i mean separate from the one he asked about the progress)

More evidence has been presented.

Now you've got an argument. Good job.

What are the circumstances behind him calling someone a "fag"?

Had he been insulted or provoked? Did he have any argument of his own and added such comments for emphasis? Or did he insult someone without context?

These are all factors in deciding a person's character based on a message he posted on the internet.

You - as in me.

can't - I cannot

change - I cannot change

his - I cannot change Colekitt's

single-minded - I cannot change Colekitt's singleminded opinions

onto - There's something wrong here. This word does not fit with the rest of the sentence.

You should really read up what the guy said instead of being lazy there Tiago. He basically just came out of nowhere and said this thread should be closed and that anyone who posts random stuff, even though it is a thread dedicated to that, should all be banned. So he is hating on this thread and we refuse to deal with people such as that.

unfortunately the post has been deleted so i can not show you but there were no insults as far as I know this was the second thing he said and there were no breaks in between his posts. but if you wish to continue justifying a (for lack of knowledge of the rules regarding profanity) meanies insults you are being far to forgiving not everyone has a reason for being a ... meanie and protecting them is saying that it is allowed. so tell me which is worse allowing these things or being the one to say them.

Calm your tits everyone, just ignore the guy

I think this whole thing started because of doki's post(i didn't read all the posts) so just ignore that.

If we ignore it then this whole discussion will stop(or at least i hope so)

Cole is the one trying to make me change my opinion. He has two choices at the moment.

Quit and let things rest, or prove to me that his opinion is "correct", which means that it's actually a fact.

It is only natural that I will make him struggle as much as possible and gall him. After all, I am aiming for the former option.

It would be all for naught if I were the kind of person who refuses to change his opinions, but with a proper argument, you can convince me of a lot of things.

Also, Doki is hating on this thread for a good reason. In his eyes, and from the information we can assume he had, this thread degenerated into chatter and his precious translation project was lost forever.

But I didn't ignore that fact either, I told him to look at the topic title next time he posts.

The post has been deleted? That means it has been socially declared as an unappropriated post, since the user who wrote it couldn't have been the one to delete it.

Furthermore, he has posted two different posts, both of which included heavy insults and profanities. One is a coincidence, but two is more like a pattern.

I will concede that this particular person has yet to show any positive traits or redeeming qualities. We can only conclude that he has none due to lack of information.

Please note. Nowhere have I ever stated that what he's doing should be allowed. I have not forgiven him for his attitude. I simply didn't pay any heed to it, which is different.

Am I protecting him? Yes, you could say that. I am trying to prove that one rude comment does not mean he is a mean person and, consequently, that he didn't deserve to have me point him in the direction of the thread he requested.

You seem to believe that me pointing him in the right direction is wrong. But is it really?

If, as you say, people like him should not be forgiven, then wouldn't pointing him in the right direction be a way to get rid of him?

It puts you in a sour mood when you see such ill-spirited comments about this thread you love, right?

Then there's an easy solution, get rid of such people. Acting dastardly toward him is not the way to go. Being a gentleman will not only increase his opinion of us as he might actually seek redemption for being so mean in the first place. Even if he does not, he got what he wants, he has no further reason for staying here polluting this thread. I'd say I was simply being mannerly and efficient, nothing else.

You may want to get into the question of whether such people deserve to get what they want. Perhaps not, but that was not my point, because as I said, I care not for his attitude.

I apologize for not using emoticons, but do I seem to be in a bitter mood? Because I certainly am not.

I think this whole thing started because of doki's post(i didn't read all the posts) so just ignore that.

But the discussion is the whole point, precisely this:

no we have to have one argument every once in a while I'm just trying keep us at a good amount.

An argument every now and then is good for your circulation.
