Grisaia no Kajitsu Video Loading Lag

Hi Fuwanovel forum, I'm having a problem with Grisaia no Kajitsu; specifically, whenever there is a video that needs to be loaded, the game lags (causing the music to become wonky) until it either loads or crashes.

 

Disabling utilize multiple cores in the sound portion of system settings has helped, but I'm at the part on the Sachi Route where

Sachi is about to set off the explosives

, when it starts having trouble, and it crashes every time after about 4 minutes of horrible lag. I've done everything except re-install; I'd rather save that as a last option.

Post your system specs... the minimum requirements is listed at http://frontwing.jp/product/grisaia/product.html and appears to be

Windows XP/Vista/7

Screen resolution 1024x576

1GHz CPU (not specified whether this is a 1GHz P4, or a Core Duo, or ...)

512MB (XP) or 1GB (Vista/7) RAM

64MB (XP) or 128MB (Vista/7) VRAM

Intel Core 2 Duo

6GB of RAM

About 4 GB of VRAM

Do you have any weird codecs or codec packs installed?

 

Also try updating DirectX, your GPU drivers and your sound card drivers.

I don't think it's the codecs or drivers. I'll just reinstall. I'll let you know if it works after I reinstall it.
