[Solved] Text cutting off in Koichoco 1.1 english patch

So I have tried searching for the answer for this, but so far none of the fixes I have found have helped me. I install the patch on a clean game install, and once I repair the missing files to get the game to start I launch it and the english text cutting off like this:

But when I run the game in its original state the text is not wrapped strangely:

I purchased the game on DMM yesterday, and I used the 1.1 patch provided by basic translations. There was at least one other person on their site that was having this issue, but the fix they used did not work for me. I have tried using comparability mode to windows 7, and my system is on Japanese locale.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

Or if anyone knew where to find the dimension settings on the text box (padding, height and width, etc.) among the files I am willing to try and figure out how to edit it. I have been poking my nose into some of the files, but I haven't found anything like that yet.

I also tried to pick up the Japanese supplementary fonts, because other posts with text issues said that might help but it didn't change anything unfortunately.

I don't really think this is solve your trouble, but you can try change your DPI settings. (looks like length limitation)
strange, maybe the version of your game isn't the same of the patch target?

That could be the case, they had said the DMM version was supported but maybe it wasnt fully supported or its just a bug with that particular version.

Alrighty, I have found my mistake, and I feel so dumb. But as long as the game works I am okay with a stupid mistake like this. I misinterpreted a page on the translators website that talked about a hotfix for certain versions (the DMM and Best versions). I thought this was released as a patch for the 1.0 and did not think it was for the 1.1 patch... But I thought I would try it out anyway today after work. Low and behold it was exactly what I needed, turns out it was a fix for the 1.1 patch.
