Another Doujin/VN Bundle

In a couple hours, Groupees will start another build-your-own Doujin game bundle. There seemed to be some interest last time, so I thought I'd post again.

 

This time around it will contain:

• eXceed 2nd - Vampire REX
• eXceed 3rd - Jade Penetrate Black Package
• HellSinker
• Higurashi When They Cry (VN)
• KAMUI
• ARMED SEVEN
• Hatoful Boyfriend (otome VN)

Plus unlockable bonus material. Mostly shmups but two visual novels are nested in there. Anyway, it's a way to get them on the cheap. If it follows the last bundle's pricing, you could get the two VNs for $1.50 USD total, on top of whatever bonus gubbins they add.

I'm buying. I've always needed to own my own digital copy of Hatoful Boyfriend. I will never play it, but when asked qualifications for jobs in the future, I will reply, "I own a visual novel where you date birds. Pigeons to be specific."

There have only been two doujin bundles, the first being in August, IIRC. If you meant inexpensive game bundles in general, then they happen all the time. Sometimes the general bundles have eastern-styled games, like 99 Spirits in the Indie Royale a bit ago.

I bought the last bundle, but barely played any of the games from it yet, so I think I'll pass on this one and just go buy the french version of Higurashi from MangaGamer as I had originaly planned.

Looks like MangaGamer will likely not be distributing Steam keys for bundle purchases of When They Cry. Sometimes people change their mind when buyers complain, but I wouldn't count on it.

 

Bundle's probably moving a bit slower this time around due to the lack of Steam trading cards.
